Watercolor theorem on paper, ca. 1830.  Hand drawn (not stenciled), the setting is elegantly simple, the colors vibrant. The fruit is arranged on a footed platter with a blue ruffled edge.  The watermelon, a peach cut in half, a bunch of grapes, and a fruit knife are drawn in detail.  It is framed in a period lemon gold frame.  In very good condition with a minor center crease. 
Dimesions:  sight 15.5" x 13"; frame 19.5" x 17".
