Exceptional miniature 19th century New England wallpaper covered box in blue.  Hand sewn paperboard box is covered in a lovely paper with a dark blue background with groups of concentric swooshes in light blue.  The light blue swooshes are highlighted with soft gold swooshes, giving the design light and dimension.  A rare size; in excellent condition.  Dimensions:  width 2 5/8”; height 2”.  Provenance:  Private collection; Collection of Lew Scranton.
