A pair of hollow-cut and pen & ink silhouettes of a husband and wife in a fabulous paint decorated frame.  The silhouettes are set inside ovals delineated with pen and ink.  Above the silhouette there is an inked double swag with three sets of tassels.  The frame is Windsor green. The edges of the frame molding are decorated with black swags outlined in yellow; red, yellow and black tassels “hang” from the swags.  The inner molding is decorated with red, yellow and black slashes.  The frame is in very fine condition with minor paint loss to the left inner corner.  The silhouettes are in excellent condition; the lower edge of the paper has some staining.
