Classic Chippendale Mirror, late 18th to early 19th century. The frame is made of solid wood (likely walnut) with a wonderful, rich dark patina. It features traditional scrolled ears and a shaped crest at the top, along with notched detailing around the upper corners of the molded frame.  The mirror itself has authentic desilvering around the edges. The frame’s minor in-use surface marks and age-appropriate wear shows its untouched historic character.  Dimensions:  glass 8.5” 13.75”; frame 10.25” x 19.75”.
