Exuberantly grain painted miniature PA blanket chest, c1840.  This perfectly proportioned little chest has vibrant graining, applied molding to the bottom front and sides, hand-dovetail construction, turned feet that are pegged into the box, and retains its original lock and key.  Even the original hinges are paint decorated!  In excellent condition.  Dimensions:  width 12.5”, depth 7.5”, height 10.25”.
