This folky beaded cat set on a burgundy background fabric in a fabulous stepped frame will add a playful air to any Americana or Folk Art collection.  The body of the seated cat is beaded, as is its eyes, nose, and mouth. Its whiskers are made of heavy gauge thread.  The frame is constructed of a series of wood strips that are "stepped" and retains its original, natural surface.   An iconic piece, ex-Jan Whitlock, that was recently reacquired from the collector. In excellent condition. Dimensions:  sight 3.75" x 6"; frame 10" x 12".
