Charming 19th century hollow-cut silhouette in a unique, rustic green painted frame.  The image is of a young child, with detailed cut work around the collar and a wisp of hair on the forehead.  Frame is chamfered along the inside edge of the front and is held together by tiny wood pegs.  Dimensions:  sight 3" x 3.75"; frame 4.75" x 5.5".
