A carved Crow decoy in dry black paint.  Attributed to Charles Perdew (1874-1963), Henry, IL, known as the greatest carver of Crow decoys. Made in two pieces with the head carved separately and joined to the hollow body. Tack eyes, a long beak and tail, and metal legs.  Mounted on a custom metal stand.  In fine condition with minor repair to beak.  Dimensions:  length 14.5”; height 10.5”.  Provenance:  Private Collection.
