Sewing Pocket, late 18th/early 19th century. A single pocket made of a hand-sewn patchwork that includes roller prints, brown ground prints, and embroideries, sewn onto a base fabric of loosely woven linen, and bound in an assortment of additional brown ground prints. A rare, early pocket that remains in very fine condition with small areas of toning and a small area of repair to one triangle piece.
