Unique and fun collection of 19th century miniature apothecary lithographed tins, clear and colored glass bottles, and chromolithographed boxes, that was accumulated over many years. Many names on the containers are still familiar today: Dr. Scholl's, Vaseline, Doan's, Smith Brothers, Tums. As well as many brands that no longer exist (maybe a good thing): Schlotterbeck & Foss Solvent, Wernet's Powder, Dr. Morse's Indian Root Pills, Gripaline's "A Positive Proven Cure for Grip, Influenza, Malaria, Coughs and Colds". This assemblage of 70 pieces is displayed in a canted 19th century pine wall hanging shelf.
Dimensions of shelf: width 10"; height 20"; depth at bottom 4.5", at top 2".
