19th century diminutive chest of drawers ca. 1830. This charming piece was possibly used to store silver. Beautifully proportioned, it is large enough to be used as an end table next to a chair, yet small enough to sit on a large table or server. It sits on a bracket base with a center drop. The top edges are molded. It appears to have its original black paint that has a "sugary" surface. The brasses are of the period and also appear to be original. The four graduated drawers are dovetailed.
