 weighted bases have impressed designs on all     four sides. The drip pans are crimped.                 Surfaces are in original, untouched condition.       Dimensions:  Base 2.75" x 2.75"; height 7.25",

18th century needle work, silk on linen.  Lovely floral design featuring a central flower with chain stitch stem.  Small flowers and buds surround on meandering vines.  On the lower left "Ann Jones, Born March the 14, 1769"; on the lower right Ann Jones June the 18 1781". Conservation mounted and framed.  Dimensions: sight 11" x 11'; frame 13.5" x 13.75".


Sweet miniature tape loom. Early 19th century. Carved design across the top on both sides.  In fine condition.  Dimensions:  5" x 8".
Watercolor on paper, the sitter identified as Ann Carhartt and dated Nov. 16, 1843.  Finely rendered with exquisite detailing to her dress, lace collar and cuffs, jewelry.  She is holding a book, painted in great detail, indicating that she is an educated woman. In a period frame.  Dimensions: sight 3.5" x 4.5"; frame 5" x 6".  SOLD
This watercolor on paper circa 1811-1812 by Hannah Pearson Cogwell Badger depicts Hannah and her sister Julia in a bucolic setting waving greetings to someone.  It is finely done and in excellent condition.  Stylically identical to another of Hannah's identified works.  Click on photo for additional photos and biographical information.  Dimensions:  sight 9.5" x 7.75"; frame 11" x 9".
A wonderful child's dress c1860.  Hand sewn, piped seems, lined bodice and sleeves, gathered waist, scalloped hemline.  Fabric typical of that period . . . coppery orange, prussian blue, madder brown  A variety of prints including paisley.  Minor loss to one sleeve (seen in photos) and one small slit in skirt fabric hidden within the gathers.  A special piece, remarkable in fabric, sewing technique, style, and condition.  Dress length:  18".
